Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Living Grace Fellowship based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. The Bible is the very Word of God. The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man: The infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
God
There is one true God who has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I Am" who made Himself known as three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator and sustainer of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and is therefore worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Revelation
God has revealed himself to us through his Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the Holy Scriptures, and through all of creation itself.
God became a human being, Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, is fully God and fully human.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus our Savior, made it possible for all people to live in a relationship with God,
as His children, as inheritors in His eternal kindgom!

Mankind
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory.
All people have worth and value. Their worth is dependent, not on accomplishments but on God's love.
God sees humanity as worth dying for as He desires to live with them in relationship.
The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.

The Fall
When Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, they ceased to be what they were made to be and became distorted images of God.
This caused them to fall out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time.

Salvation
Salvation is not procured through family lineage, good works, national heritage or by virtue of religion.
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions.
God raised Him from the dead, and now by grace, offers eternal life, a free gift, to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior.
That is why salvation can only be found in Christ alone.
The salvation experience continues beyond saving grace as the indwelling Christ works in us to make us whole.

The Church
The Church is comprised of all those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
The Bible identifies the church, be it a local congregation or the worldwide fellowship of believers, as the Body of Christ.
God, in His Word, calls believers to gather together for worship, service, growth and outreach to the world.
Wherever the people of God gather, there is the local expression of the church.

Return of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead,
and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
