Prayer Team
Prayer is the way followers of Jesus connect and meet with God. We value the invitation Jesus gave us to pray about absolutely everything. Prayer is part of abiding in Christ. In His presence, we submit our requests to His will.
Now this is the confidence that we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
1 John 5:14-15
Responsibilities
Each Sunday we collect prayer requests, and distribute them to our team for prayer through the week. Once a week, the prayer team gathers in person to bring the week's requests to God. We also pray for each of the ministries and any other topics we become aware of. Team members are trained to hold all requests in holy confidence.
